I love turning heartbreaking humanity into something funny. Whether it’s a long form narrative or a 30 second spot, I want my audience to both feel for and laugh at the people on screen.

On set, I’m a deep believer in making space for discovery and experimentation. Everyone in our industry knows making cool shit is hard. It’s important to me that collaborators feel like making cool shit is fun, too.

When I’m not directing or writing, I’m mostly getting unhinged children’s songs stuck in my head thanks to my wonderful 2-year-old.

In my 10+ years as a copywriter and creative director in advertising, I was lucky enough to lead work like The Unspoken Curriculum, Healthcare Is Caring, The Post Game Hug, among many other great (and not so great) campaigns.

I’ve been even more fortunate to have this work recognized for awards at Cannes, The Clios, D&AD, The One Show, The Webbys, The Shorties, PRSA Awards, and more.
